Each year, Blackbaud awards bbcon scholarships to industry professionals who exude a passion for learning and want to propel their organizations' missions forward. Attending bbcon opens the door for professional growth through hands-on training, networking opportunities, interactive demos, relationship building and so much more.  Check back here on July 19 to see the announcement of our bbcon 2019 scholarship winners!

  • Blackbaud will cover hotel lodging for three nights for the top three full-scholarship winners
  • Speaker scholarship winners will have speaker fee waived
  • Please note: Winner will be responsible for airfare or other travel costs.
  • Summary of your organization's mission statement in registration form
  • One 2-4 minute video submission provided in a URL link, telling us:
    • About your organization
    • Why you want to go to bbcon
    • How bbcon will help your organization further drive its mission
    • If you're applying to be a speaker, share what others will find most valuable from your proposed session
  • Show your passion! There are no limits so be creative
  • To avoid size restrictions, first upload your video for free to Vimeo, YouTube or another video hosting site
  • Ensure your video is a proper movie file, such as: MP4, MPEG, MPG, MOV, or AVI

Conditions of Award Winners
Scholarships are used exclusively for registration fees for bbcon 2019. Scholarships are non-transferable and have no cash or exchange value. Winners must allow Blackbaud or another company affiliated with the scholarship to use the recipient's name in promotional materials.  Winner will be required to share their experience at bbcon with the greater Blackbaud community (conference planning committee to work with recipient on this). Videos may be used for promotional purposes. Blackbaud's receipt of application signifies acceptance of these conditions.
