Description

It has now been over a year since the new tax reform went into effect. The 2017 tax reform bill was predicted to have a sizable impact on the nonprofit sector, including the potential for significant losses in charitable giving in the billions of dollars. What have we seen thus far in terms of impact? Some organizations saw the impact of tax reform through batched multi-year gifts. How do you keep donors engaged in your organization when they are not giving for multiple years? How is tax reform going to impact giving in 2020 and 2021? What advocacy is currently occurring on Capitol Hill to bolster charitable giving, and how can nonprofits participate?
