Whether I was schlepping plastic bins full of event supplies for the American Cancer Society, mingling with President's Society donors for Northwest Community Hospital, or soliciting gifts through the mail and online for Phoenix Children's Hospital, I have had the privilege of witnessing first-hand the power of philanthropy for the past 13 years. I would consider myself a fundraising nerd who loves to engage with fellow fundraising professionals to talk strategy, data, and best practices. I live in Arizona, but like almost all of my neighbors I didn't grow up there - I'm from the great state of Minnesota. When I'm not raising money for children, I am busy raising 3 children and negotiating with my wife to see who is going to wake up with the youngest!
