Chris Waters is the Team Lead for Cyber Security Engineering at Blackbaud. He manages a group of highly skilled security engineers covering all areas of platform and cloud related security.

Before joining Blackbaud, Chris was the Data Center and Support Services manager at JELD-WEN Windows and Doors. In his 11 years there, Chris was responsible for 3 data center facilities, network security and administration, and the support services group which included the corporate service desk and other product support groups. Prior to JELD-WEN, he worked for a content delivery network called Digital Island, where he and a small group of engineers managed security and systems for clusters of static content and streaming media deliver servers in approximately 500 locations around the world. As a U.S. Navy veteran, he served at the Pacific Fleet headquarters in Honolulu Hawaii where he worked in the classified material vault with multiple security related responsibilities.
