In 2017, Heather LeVan became part of the Blackbaud team as a Solutions Engineer, where she specializes in Financial Edge NXT and Raiser’s Edge NXT. With 16 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Heather has served in key positions such as development director and chief financial officer within higher education, public education, and cancer research. During her tenure in nonprofit, she utilized Blackbaud products for 11 years. Moving to Blackbaud's Global Marketing team in 2021 marked a rewarding chapter in her career, merging her passion for nonprofits, technology, and storytelling.

Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and a Master's degree in Community Leadership and Nonprofit Management from Westminster University. Her graduate work focused on leveraging digital storytelling to raise awareness of child hunger issues, which involved direct engagement with families in need.

 She resides in South Carolina with her spouse, their two children who are currently navigating their teenage years and early adulthood, and their two Labrador retrievers.
