A graduate of the University of British Columbia, Fred is currently the director of alumni engagement. He joined UBC's development and alumni engagement portfolio in 2003 as a senior fundraiser. Fred joined alumni UBC in 2006. Serving in a leadership role, Fred and his colleagues lead efforts to meaningfully increase engagement and build influence among UBC's community of more than 350,000 global alumni and 60,000 students on two campuses. In 2016, the development and alumni engagement portfolio completed its highly successful Start an Evolution campaign, a historic effort that raised more than $1.6 billion in philanthropic support and engaged more than 130,000 alumni.
