Tim is an internationally renowned certified fundraising executive with 40 years of higher education leadership experience in the areas of development and alumni affairs, marketing and public relations, grants and contracts, conferences and events, change and project management, strategic planning, and governmental affairs.

Prior to forming Burcham Solutions in 2016, Tim served 16 years as vice president for advancement for Kentucky's two-year college system and more than 20 years in development, alumni affairs, and student recruitment at the University of Kentucky. His major gifts program and capital campaigns have raised more than $200 million in philanthropic support for these organizations.
Tim has served in a variety of national and international leadership positions with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) where he served as the AFP international board chair in 2007-2008.

Tim currently serves on the AFP Foundation Fundraising Board with an emphasis on major gifts and chairs the Chamberlain Challenge.
