Amy began with RE 6, learning what more the database could do by asking, “What is this button for?” She has a history of taking databases to the next level to provide metrics to show what’s going well and what can be improved. She has worked in the arts, higher eduction, membership organizations, and healthcare.

She has been with Bat Conservation International for over four years, learning to balance remote work with life. She loves teaching how RE isn’t as “scary” as people make it out to be, especially when you know the secrets of a good home page and a set of clean-up queries. A recipient of the Robert C. Hernandez Award of Excellence, Amy is a strong advocate of Blackbaud Champions and various user groups.

She spends her free time building Lego sets, catching pokemon, watching horror films with her husband, and being as cringe as possible to her teen.
