David Rode is the President & GM of the Corporations & Foundations Market Group at Blackbaud. He has been in the role since August 2018 and is based in Blackbaud’s worldwide headquarters in Charleston, SC. Previously, David was the President & COO of PeopleMetrics, a Philadelphia-based SaaS company focused on customer experience management. David has 20 years of executive leadership experience leading cloud, SaaS and data analytics companies. Before working in software, he was a consultant at Bain & Company. David has a BA from Denison University and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Ford Fellow and graduated cum laude. Outside of work, David is married with 5 children, enjoys cycling, painting (www.davidrode.com) and donating his time to two local nonprofits in Philadelphia.
