Laura Beussman is passionate about marketing and building sustainable communities, and is able to combine the two as Director of Marketing, Faith Solutions, at Blackbaud. In her current role, Laura leads the go-to-market strategy for Blackbaud's portfolio of solutions for faith communities, which includes defining the segmentation, buyer personas, positioning, value prop, content development, roadmap collaboration, packaging, and pricing. Early in her career, Laura worked for several years in a variety of arts & cultural nonprofits, including Austin Opera and the Dallas Theater Center. After completing her MBA at the University of Wisconsin, Laura spent two years as the lead pricing manager for consumer desktops at Dell. Laura joined the Blackbaud team in 2013, and spent her first four years there leading the marketing efforts for the arts & cultural vertical, before taking the director of product marketing role for Blackbaud’s fundraising portfolio, and then most recently moving into her current role last July. Laura also currently serves on the Board at her alma mater, the University of Wisconsin. In her personal time, Laura and her husband David, a choir director, spend their time chasing after their blended family of four daughters.
