Courtney Grainger is passionate about creating innovative solutions that help organizations change the world. Courtney was born in Michigan but moved to her dad's home state of South Carolina in 1993. Courtney grew up in Catholic school most of her life and graduated from the College of Charleston in May of 2007. With her fresh BA in Communication Studies, Courtney joined Blackbaud in June of the same year. Courtney has excelled on several teams here at Blackbaud. Starting in Customer Support for our Education Solutions team until 2010 when she moved up to a Solutions Engineer of our Arts and Cultural team, Courtney worked to ensure our clients were able to maximize the usage of their solutions. Courtney's hard work and excellence gave her the opportunity to join the Product Management team in 2012, where she lead our Education Solutions development and assisted with the acquisition of WhippleHill. Most recently, Courtney joined the Faith Communities Vertical as the Vertical Product Manager, eager to serve our faith-based customers. Throughout all of her success here at Blackbaud, Courtney found the time to graduate with her MBA from The Citadel in December of 2013. In her personal time, Courtney likes to spend time with her husband, two daughters, ages 2 and 4, and their rescue pup named Teach (after Edward Teach aka Blackbeard. arrrrrgggg!).
