Katie Farrow joined SEFCU in 2018, bringing with her over 13 years of experience from the nonprofit sector as well as managing the marketing and philanthropy for corporations. At SEFCU, she is an integral part of managing the grantmaking activities with nonprofits in the upstate New York. SEFCU, the largest credit union in upstate NY and in the top 50 credit unions nationally, leads statewide efforts throughout its geographic footprint to engage community partners with critical missions. With this, Katie is charged with the evaluation of programmatic grant requests through developing measurable outcomes and other key indicators, while also creating volunteer opportunities that strengthen the community and enable SEFCU to carry out its philanthropic mission to share its time, talent, and treasure with these organizations. She is a 2014 graduate of the Chamber’s Leadership Program and obtained her bachelor’s of arts from Saint Michael’s College.
