Speaker Bio
Jason has been married to his high school sweetheart for over 12 years. Together, they have two daughters that love school and competitive gymnastics; and a son that loves baseball.
Jason is currently the Chief Financial Officer for StarCare Specialty Health System. He has held this role for 3.5 years. Prior to his time at StarCare, Jason cut his teeth in healthcare finance and analytics at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.
Jason is a US Army Veteran.
After returning from Iraq, Jason re-enrolled at Texas Tech University where he graduated with a master’s degree in finance. During his time at Texas Tech, he discovered a love for numbers and analytics. At UMC he had the opportunity to learn from great leaders and refine his technical skills.
Jason enjoys working in the community, whether it be serving at his church or with local charities, such as big brothers big sisters, where he had the same “little” for over seven years. In 2011 Jason co-founded Opportunity America – a BAM (Business-As-Missions) company with offices in Beijing and Texas that provides opportunities for young Chinese students to come to America for English immersion and cultural training courses. These courses provide the opportunity for churches and families to share their love and the gospel with Chinese families and create bonds that last a lifetime and span the globe.
Above all, Jason loves his God, his family, and his country.
