Director, Continuing Engagement
Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh
Liz McFarlin-Marciak has built a relationship-driven career in fundraising over the last seven years at both higher education and cultural institutions. She currently oversees individual giving at Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, four distinctive museums that annually serve over 1.4 million people. During her tenure, she’s reinvigorated the museums’ leadership annual giving program through a concentrated and personalized approach to donor engagement. With her talented colleagues, Liz is also helping shift the museums’ culture towards one of gratitude that connects donors to their passions, thus building a robust pipeline of major and planned giving philanthropists. Prior to Carnegie Museums, Liz worked at Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, building a comprehensive recent alumni program and traveling the country to keep alumni connected to their alma mater. Liz earned undergraduate degrees in management and art history from Case Western Reserve University and a master’s in arts management from Carnegie Mellon University.
