Gary Levante is Senior Vice President of Corporate Responsibility & Culture at Berkshire Bank, accountable for the company’s corporate responsibility, sustainability, and culture performance. Under Gary’s leadership, Berkshire has earned more than two dozen awards including the 2019 North American Employee Engagement Award, 2018 Engage For Good Gold Halo Award for employee community engagement, PR Daily’s 2018 Corporate Social Responsibility Award, an IMPACT2030 Innovation Award and an International Communitas Award for leadership in Corporate Social Responsibility. A leading expert on human capital investment and community engagement, he has been featured at conferences throughout North America, on social media and in national publications. He serves on the boards of America’s Charities and Children First, as chair of Downtown Pittsfield, Inc. and Health First and is a member of the Global Impact Council of IMPACT2030, a United Nations and private sector collaborative, amongst other local and national committees. Gary holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont.
