Dr. Emma Felipe leads IBM’s newly established Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Studio, which supports the reinvention of the IBM CSR organization and helps IBMers better engage with the global community. The CSR Studio provides strategy consulting services internally to IBM CSR and not for profits. The CSR Studio is also responsible for leading best-practice engagements and offerings serving our clients in their Social Impact journey. Previously in her role as the North America Transformation Leader for IBM Services, she led transformation initiatives across the business to help IBM Services become the digital reinvention partner and employer of choice. She reinforced a culture of service, innovation, and inclusion across the North America population, resulting in increased employee engagement, employer brand value, and workforce productivity.

Dr. Felipe has gained over 20 years of international work experience in Marketing, Operations, and Business Development. She was Vice President of Latin America Business Development and Strategic Marketing at AECOM Technology Corporation. Her specialties include organizational culture and change, leadership development, employee engagement, innovation, and corporate social responsibility.

Dr. Felipe was a visiting professor at ESADE International Business School, where she taught courses in the ‘Business in Society’ discipline. She also taught Strategic Management and Organizational Culture Behavior at Tsinghua University. She received a Ph.D. in Economics and Management from the University of Bordeaux, Masters in Economic Research and Nutrition from Ramon Lull University, BA in International Business from the University of Westminster, and BA in Business Administration from ESEI.

A native of Barcelona, Spain, Dr. Felipe has over two decades of experience teaching and working all over the world as well as mastering seven different languages. She hopes her work will inspire others to embrace change and seek out uncomfortable situations for opportunities to grow.
