Suzi Cabo is the Managing Director of Social Impact Optimization at United Airlines. In this role, she leads strategy and cultivates relationships between United and the nonprofit community to offer solutions for the company’s most complex business challenges and address critical social issues impacting United’s hub markets. Through this work, she is committed to showing the world that United is a business that is both profitable and principled.
Before joining the Community Affairs team in 2011, Suzi held several roles within the United Marketing team where she managed search engine optimization, sports, and entertainment sponsorships and launched the company’s Facebook page. Prior to working at United, Suzi spent eight years in brand advertising where she developed the narrative for some of the world’s leading brands including Dell, KOHLER, Macy’s and E! Entertainment TV.
Suzi currently serves as a member of the Good360 Disaster Recovery Council, a collaboration between the private, public and nonprofit sectors that builds proactive models for response and recovery and proudly served as a Board member and Vice Chair of the National Runaway Safeline, a 24/7 hotline that that helps runaway, homeless and at-risk youth stay safe and off the streets.
Suzi received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She is a happy wife, proud stepmom and smitten dog owner who takes full advantage of her United travel benefits!
