Katherine Liles joined the Blackbaud University team in early 2018 as an Instructor. While primarily a Financial Edge NXT instructor, Katherine also leads Raiser’s Edge and Altru classes. During her time with Blackbaud, she has helped many organizations by guiding them through database best practices and bringing light to new functionality.
Prior to Blackbaud, Katherine worked at the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University (MSU Broad), where she discovered her passion for the nonprofit world. As with many other nonprofit employees, Katherine wore many hats during her time at the museum, but her main focus was managing its databases.
Katherine is now based in Boston and has loved exploring the New England area. She also loves to travel, most recently visiting Taiwan and Vietnam in the spring of 2019. After work, you’ll find Katherine spending way too much time at Trader Joe’s, perusing Craigslist for interesting furniture and knickknacks, or taste testing all the different cannoli Boston has to offer.
