Cristina Zambrano first found her passion for the nonprofit sector as a student at the University of Houston where she joined the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance program. Upon graduation, Cristina continued her education at Rice University’s Center for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership, studying proposal development and nonprofit finance while joining the workforce as a fundraiser. She then spent the next several years fundraising in her hometown of Houston, specializing in data management and annual giving.
In 2018, Cristina joined Blackbaud as an Instructor based out of Los Angeles, teaching Raiser’s Edge NXT and Financial Edge NXT courses as well as leading the Organizational Best Practices: Fundraising–Peer-to-Peer workshop.
Passionate about fundraising strategy and developing the social good workforce, Cristina enjoys volunteering and presenting about professional development in the nonprofit workforce whenever possible. Outside of the nonprofit world, you’ll find Cristina traveling, cooking, and trying to learn woodworking.
