Amanda Griffey has been educating since 2006, starting with her first teaching job at a K–12 boarding school in rural South Korea. After developing a passion for helping non-native English speakers successfully acquire language and academic skills, Amanda returned to her home state of Tennessee to serve as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher in the public school system.
In 2018, Amanda took her love of educating to Blackbaud when she joined the Blackbaud University team as an Instructor. In her daily role, Amanda feels she has the wonderful opportunity to enable Raiser’s Edge, Raiser’s Edge NXT, and Blackbaud’s education management portfolio customers to more successfully use their solutions to help good take over. Amanda is based in Washington, DC, where she regularly trains Blackbaud customers. Amanda is delighted to return to Tennessee this fall to teach in Nashville at Blackbaud University Day, for the second year in a row.
