Allison (Allie) Dreskin joined Blackbaud University as an Instructor in 2018, having previously worked in fundraising for cultural, educational, and animal welfare nonprofits. She was first introduced to Blackbaud products when she worked in Donors Communications & Stewardship at the World Wildlife Fund. A graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, Allie studied Communication with a focus in Rhetoric and Public Discourse. Allie also studied Nonprofit Management with Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, during her tenure as a Program Manager at the Johns Hopkins Peabody Institute.
Allie is active in music and live theatre, both as an audience member and a performer. She has performed as a vocalist in multiple cover bands around the Baltimore area, and participated in musical theatre productions at various community theatres. Allie’s passion for the arts, animal welfare, and social issues has created a special affinity for mission-based organizations, and she is thrilled to play a part in implementing social good every day.
