Amy Matthews is currently a Senior Instructor at Blackbaud delivering world-class content online and in person through Blackbaud University. Prior to joining the Blackbaud team, Amy spent almost 8 years working in the nonprofit industry as a database administrator, project manager, and “wearer-of-many-hats.” Through these positions, she was able to work closely with fundraisers, finance, marketing, event mangers, and volunteers.
She draws on this experience, and everything she’s learned while working with thousands of Blackbaud clients, to provide thought leadership and experience-based recommendations on topics like Donor Retention, Major Giving, Sharing Fundraising Impact, and Volunteer Recruitment & Retention.
Amy is passionate about helping Blackbaud software users become more effective and efficient at their jobs and ensures that each student who attends her class leaves with an actionable way to make their mission possible.
