National Product Manager, Peer-to-Peer Digital Fundraising
Christy is the National Product Manager of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Digital Fundraising for JDRF, driving the P2P fundraising strategies through online communications and the development of JDRF’s digital fundraising tools. In her 6 years at JDRF, she spearheaded the successful launch of JDRF’s re-envisioned JDRF Your Way DIY fundraising program, managed the project to rebrand JDRF One Walk, previously Walk to Cure Diabetes, and partnered with Blackbaud as an early adopter to launch a mobile app that supported all of JDRF’s P2P programs.
Her 14 years of nonprofit fundraising experience has included everything from program management to project and product management with a specialty in the areas of digital communications and championing user needs in online fundraising strategy development. Prior to JDRF, Christy was with Event 360 working with nonprofit clients such as National MS Society, National Wildlife Foundation, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Alzheimer’s Association, and many more to build powerful fundraising events and online strategies. Christy happily calls Portland, Oregon home with her husband and two children, where they enjoy the amazing local food scene and weekend camping adventures.
