Lauren Smithman has been in and around the for-good sector for over 14 years, and is a lifelong non-profit geek.  With experiences ranging from "special projects intern," to frontline fundraiser, to VP of Advancement at a large granting non-profit, she has a passion for building systems that solve problems.  She believes that many of our world’s biggest challenges can be solved with good decision making in the non-profit sphere – and good decisions result from good data.

She has a B.A. from Duquesne University, and MBA from Clemson University.  She is a passionate community volunteer, advocate, and former foster parent in Greenville, SC.
