Building integrations often means working across APIs, authentication models, data structures, business rules, and platform-specific requirements. In this session, we’ll use a GiveCampus to Blackbaud CRM integration scenario to demonstrate how Claude Code can assist with parts of the integration development process.

This is not a replacement for experienced developers, established architecture, code review, testing, or BrightVine’s standard integration delivery practices. Instead, we’ll show how AI can be used as a development aid to help explore API documentation, generate starter code, identify patterns, troubleshoot issues, and accelerate certain technical tasks when used with proper oversight.

We’ll walk through how Claude can help developers:

• Think through authentication, request structure, and response handling
• Map data between GiveCampus and Blackbaud CRM
