We're looking for Blackbaud K–12 customers or industry leaders that can help deliver an unforgettable, engaging learning experience at the 2020 Blackbaud K–12 User Conference in Los Angeles on July 8–10, 2020. Hosted by Blackbaud, this event brings together fundraisers, admission directors, IT directors, heads of schools, educators, financial managers, marketing and communication experts, and many more to discuss trends, best practices, and outcome-based solutions that connect schools. 

If you're interested in presenting a session, please submit a proposal. Please review the following information before submitting a proposal. The deadline to submit is March 4, 2020.  

 

GUIDELINES

Please review Blackbaud's Speaker Policies below before submitting your presentation. By submitting a session for consideration, you are agreeing to and complying with the speaker guidelines listed below.

  • I understand that if my topic is selected, there will be a discounted registration fee of $400 to attend and speak at the K–12 User Conference (this is over 50% off standard ticket price)
  • No more than four (4) speakers total per session
  • No more than two (2) speakers from the same organization can participate in the same session
  • Blackbaud does not pay for travel expenses or other speaker fees
  • By submitting this proposal, you agree that you are available to present your submitted session during the session blocks from July 8–10, 2020
  • Accepted presenters must submit all PowerPoint presentations and handout materials by deadline (to be provided at a later date) or your session may get cancelled

EVALUATION CRITERIA

Session proposals will be reviewed and evaluated using the following criteria:

  • Quality of content
  • Relevance to audience: Content should examine and explore the needs, challenges, and opportunities K12 schools face today and in the future
  • Approach: Session descriptions, target audience, level of expertise, and key learning takeaways are clearly articulated
  • Creativity and innovation: Engaging ways to interact with the audience and/or new perspectives on topics are delivered
  • Impact: Session provides practical application and encourages attendees to take action

PRESENTATION FORMAT

Conference sessions will be 4560 minutes long (with Q&A). We ask that prospective speakers design interactive sessions and avoid reading from their presentations.
