We help your people find their people. The only way to increase engagement & collect data in real-time. ✨
About us
Mixtroz (which stands for “mixer” + “intro”) was created by mother-daughter duo Kerry Schrader and Ashlee Ammons when they recognized that people have a hard time making meaningful connections at events. And, this problem isn’t new, it was coined in the 1950’s as “homophily” basically “birds of a feather flock together” OR as we’ve seen event-goers in the digital age engage with profiles over people!!! Today, Mixtroz services events, meetings, trainings, orientations, weddings, you name it where 25 or more are gathered. We use technology to make human connection simpler, better and more satisfying increasing engagement and collecting data for you. More information about Mixtroz is available at mixtroz.com and to experience the free demo for yourself, please download the Mixtroz app from the iOS or Google app stores.

There is always something to learn from someone else's experiences. Just make sure the people and their experience are real...not even AI can beat human experience (or human connectivity)!! #mixtrozforthewin
UAB Goodrich Chair of Entrepreneurship | Author, Mutiny and its Bounty (Yale) | Editor-in-Chief, JSBED | Top 1% Techstars Mentor
The Entrepreneurial Engagement Seminar (ENT 425) is an advanced team-based capstone experience in the University of Alabama at Birmingham's national award-winning Barefield #Entrepreneurship Program. This semester, its teams are undertaking consulting projects with four entrepreneurial firms. ENT 425 thinks globally and acts locally to (a) re-instill core concepts, (b) apply those concepts to firms to yield indelible lessons, and (c) undertake intensive residency engagements with external entrepreneurs. Today was the crescendo of one such three-part engagement with Kerry Schrader, MBA. She shared deep experiential truths and fielded many questions from ENT 425 members, several of whom are already entrepreneurs! The act of applying knowledge and wisdom to real problems effectively integrates many diverse concepts into a holistic and proper university ("one truth") education. Such learning outcomes are not available anywhere else. Aided by the support of community, university entrepreneurship education transforms lives by transposing problem structures into evolutionary contexts of opportunity. Thank you Kerry for generously helping us do this work! Impact, inspiration, ingenuity! Go Blazers! #UAB #Birmingham #Alabama

I had a great time sharing "real talk" with budding entrepreneurs at UAB today. Watch out for these students that are going to really make a positive impact on the ecosystem! TY Dr. Murphy for all you do to make sure they are exposed to BOTH the academic and "real-life" aspects of the entrepreneurial journey 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾 #uabblazers #realtalk #preparation #tech #entrepreneurship #beentheredoingthat
