The school bus driver shortage is here to stay. Schools are turning to tech for solutions to the bus driver shortage. Go Together, Inc. is leading the way working with districts like Framingham Public Schools giving parents and caregivers more options like carpooling, walking and biking. Carrie Jung at WBUR NPR really captured the real impact of the bus driver shortage - attendance and parent frustration featuring Kimberly Y. Moore, our CEO. It will take an unconventional approach to solve this mission-critical problem. If we want kids to learn, we have to get them to school. Go Together understands this better than anyone and has the solution to make it happen. https://lnkd.in/eypBsZSD #K12 #Future #School #Mobility #Innovation #Mission #Critical #Solution

Go Together, Inc. is committed to helping students become their best through education and great work experiences. We hire high school interns to understand better their needs to enter the workforce. BuildWithin, led by Philip Minardi and Dr. Ximena Gates Hartsock, and their team, are pioneers in shaping the #futureofwork. They advocate for #Apprenticeships beyond trades, a progressive approach that promises a great experience for both the employer and employee. Excited Kimberly Y. Moore was awarded for how Go Together is playing its part in building the future of work in technology.
A youth apprenticeship is a powerful pathway to opportunity. Happy to get to celebrate Youth Apprenticeship Week with the BuildWithin team, including The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. Board member Dr. Ximena Gates Hartsock. What a convening of apprentices, leaders, and entrepreneurs. Kimberly Y. Moore shared the origin story of Go Together, Inc. with me. Founders are heroes. Her story is as exciting as any novel, full of twists and challenges and fortunate accidents. 💡The recurring theme Kim shared was: “Opportunities of a lifetime must be seized in the lifetime of the opportunity.” (Leonard Ravenhill)💡 So fitting for a founder and for the work of youth apprenticeships. And really for me too. #carpediem #connections #youthapprenticeships

Kimberly Y. Moore our CEO and the Board of OSSE Office of Industry Engagement for IT/Tech hosted DC students to prepare them for real world of working in #cybersecurity. The future is bright for DC's students! #cybersecurity #jobs #nextgen #K12
Setting students up for a bright future in cybersecurity! This week Go Together, Inc. put together an amazing program, Skilling Up to Level Up, at The Hub in Virtru's headquarters in Penn West. Local high school students enrolled in CTE (Career and Technical Ed) programs heard from cybersecurity professionals before splitting into groups for hands-on training. Tackling a scenario-based exercise involving an organization’s Instagram hack, the students got a sense of what to expect in a cybersecurity career. There are many cybersecurity careers available in the DC area, and Penn West can help you make the right connections. Whether you’re a student looking to explore tech through an apprenticeship or an employer looking to host an apprentice, we encourage you to contact us to see how we can support your goals.
