Scott M. Roberts was named president and CEO of the University of Connecticut Foundation in April 2019. Prior to joining UConn, Roberts served as vice president for philanthropy and alumni engagement at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and president of the UNLV Foundation. During his nine-year tenure at UNLV, the university raised more than $500 million and saw a 56 percent increase in the number of gifts, and a 51 percent increase in donors. Before arriving at UNLV, Roberts was director of university development at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas, where he led a $120 million comprehensive capital campaign. Roberts holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of the Ozarks and a master’s of public administration from UNLV.
