As Chief Technology Officer at Ransom Everglades School in Miami, Florida, Linda Lawrence develops and implements technical strategies that support a robust multi-campus computing infrastructure and promotes best practices for student success, campus safety, business optimization, and information decision-making. Prior to joining the Ransom Everglades community in May 2020, she was the Director of Technology Development and Chair of Applied Technology at Metairie Park Country Day School. Her earlier career was devoted to data solutions and network infrastructures supporting oil and gas exploration and production. A New Orleans native, Linda earned a Master of Science in computer science from Tulane University and graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana Tech University with a BS in computer science. One of her greatest joys in the most recent years? Participating in collaborative organizations and groups that exchange ideas and implementation strategies that leverage technology for teaching, learning, and data fluidity.
