Power BI (Part 2): Designing Interactive Reports for Student Insights

Thursday, Jul 16
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
Wellesley

In this hands-on workshop, you will build on a validated Power BI data model to design an interactive report experience that highlights student achievement across athletics programs. Using the relationships and measures developed in Part 1, you will create report pages, visuals, and filters that allow users to explore cumulative GPA by team and student.

You will learn practical tips for building in Power BI Desktop, including how to structure report pages, design visuals for clarity, and create interactive experiences using slicers and cross-filtering. By the end of the session, you will have a complete report layout and a repeatable approach to delivering insights to your school community.

This session is the second in a two-part series and builds directly on concepts introduced in Power BI (Part 1): Data Modeling and Validation for Student Reporting.
