Tanyika Jordan is a Blackbaud Senior Instructor based in Atlanta, GA. Tanyika combines her love of teaching with her passion for nonprofits. At Blackbaud, Tanyika teaches Raiser’s Edge NXT, Financial Edge NXT, Education Edge, and Blackbaud’s education management portfolio. Most customers describe Tanyika’s teaching style as patient. She developed her patient demeanor while teaching first grade in the Atlanta public school system, through the Teach For America program. Although Tanyika has taught elementary school, she has 12 years of experience delighting Blackbaud customers in the classroom. Prior to becoming an instructor, Tanyika spent more than 10 years working in Sales and Administration for various organizations including Lanier Worldwide, and Eli Lilly and Company. Tanyika has served her community as a full-time volunteer in the AmeriCorps program and continues to be active with Hands On Atlanta, Teach For America, and Toastmasters. She loves traveling the world and reading novels with happy endings.
