Andrea Prothro is the director of admissions at Second Baptist School (TX), which she has held since 2005. In this role, Andrea sets the strategic vision for admission, enrollment, retention, and marketing for the school. In addition to serving in admissions, Andrea is a mentor to the Admissions Fellows, student leaders dedicated to prospective and new student experiences. Andrea writes and speaks for national independent school organizations and is a former president and board member for the Houston Area Independent Schools organization. Andrea and her husband, Michael, enjoy hiking, reading, and watching their three boys participate in sports and theatre at Second Baptist School.
