Emir joined Blackbaud in September 2019 as product manager for Blackbaud Financial Aid Management (SmartAid), responsible for enhancing the solution for parent and school users. Over the last several months, Emir has enjoyed working closely with schools and other stakeholders to improve the product and drive adoption. Before joining Blackbaud, Emir worked for several universities for over ten years as a senior financial aid administrator in many capacities. He was instrumental in helping these schools implement new student information systems (SIS) from the ground up. Emir now resides in New Hampshire and enjoys cycling, hiking, and golfing. Emir is proud to have joined the Blackbaud family.
