Stephen was born in California and raised throughout the USA, finally ending up in Texas by age 9. He graduated from the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science in Denton, Texas before moving south to attend the University of Texas at Austin. After several grueling years of balancing college classes with a full-time job (most notably for over five years at Apple Computer), Stephen graduated from UT Austin with degrees in Computer Science and Psychology. Shortly thereafter, he began working for Convio on the Luminate Online product, eventually transitioning to Blackbaud as part of the Web Development team, where he focused on custom development work for specific clients. Recently, he partnered with the Blackbaud Engineering team to develop the new TeamRaiser Participant Center, as the first of many web development implementations designed to update the Luminate Online product for all Blackbaud clients.
